Contact List and Details
The contact list contains all contacts defined in LabInspector, and allows the user to quickly locate and edit a contact's details. To locate a contact, the user can employ the search bar in the upper left of the index, use the search tools in each column, or a more complex search query can be defined with the Custom Filter button. The export button can be used to create a custom report of any or all columns of interest. To review a specific contact, click on their Name.
The contact detail page allows users to delete or edit the data associated with a contact, or delete the contact entirely. Users are also able to add a series of comments to communicate with other LabInspector users about a contact. Clicking Add Devices to Contact will allow a user to associate devices defined in the Device list with the given contact. Select one or more devices, click Review, and then click Add to Contact if the selected devices are correct.
Add Contact
To add a new contact, click Add Contact on the Contacts page. The resulting modal will require company, first, and last name, as well as optionally a title, phone, and email. Submit the form to register the contact.
