The Lots page is a system to register or review any lots in inventory
Lot Registration
Most material pages have the ability to register lots of their type on their detail pages, however a user is also able to register new lots on the Lots index page using the Register button.
On the registration form, select a material type to filter the materials available for selection in the grid below. Enter a vendor of the lot, then optionally enter a volume, concentration, vendor lot ID, buffer, or modification, then submit to complete registration.
Lot Index and Details
The index page allows users to review existing lots in Affinity. Filters can be applied on any column to narrow the displayed lots. Click on an ID to navigate to its details page.
The details page for a lot consists of two sections, Details and Lineage. Details will display all attributes of the selected lot, and users with appropriate permissions are able to edit the review status, vendor, vendor Lot ID, modification, buffer, size, or amount recovered.
The Lineage section is a representation of the lineage of this lot sample. It will have two sections, the direct line and the family. These are most commonly useful with samples related to selections or those generated from rearrays to visualize which plates or selection rounds a lot sample originated from.
