Oligonucleotides can be registered and managed in the Materials module
Oligonucleotide Registration
Register oligonucleotides using the button at the top left of the oligonucleotide index page. The resulting form will allow you to manually enter data or import XLS files for registration of larger numbers of oligos at a time.
In the registration form, select a Project and a Type. The type selected will alter the fields available for registration - for example antisense oligonucleotides require a target, name, and sequence, messenger RNA requires a name, sequence, gene, and species, and primer requires only a name and sequence.
Oligonucleotide Index and Details
The index page for oligos allows users to review the existing oligonucleotides in the system. Filters can be applied on any column to narrow the displayed oligos. Click on an ID or name to navigate to its details page.
The oligonucleotide details page consists of three sections. The first, Details, displays the attributes of the oligo and allow users with proper permissions to edit the name.
The Lots section displays every lot in inventory of this oligonucleotide, and the user can register new lots by clicking the Register Lot button.
Finally, the Assay Results section allows users to review any assay data loaded against samples of this material. Select an Assay Type to display all results of that type for all samples of the given oligonucleotide.
