scFvs

scFvs can be registered by either sequence or plasmid, and reviewed in the Materials module

ScFv Registration

Register scFvs using the button at the top left of the scFv index page. After selection of either sequences or plasmids, the resulting form will allow you to manually enter data or import XLS files for registration of larger numbers of scFvs at a time.

To register an scFv, required fields are the name, target, and sequence or plasmid (depending on the method selected). Users may also optionally enter a species and description. When registering scFvs, the system will verify whether there is a linker sequence in the given sequence or plasmid. If not, registration will fail.

ScFv Index and Details

The index page for scFvs allows users to review the existing scFvs in the system. Filters can be applied on any column to narrow the shown scFvs. Click on an ID or name to navigate to the details page.

The scFv details page consists of five sections. The first, Details, shows the attributes of the scFv and allow users with proper permissions to edit the Name and Description.

The Lots section shows each lot in inventory registered of this material, and the user can register new lots by clicking the Register Lot button.

Assay Results allows users to review any assay data loaded against samples of this material. Select an Assay Type to display all assays of that type for all samples of the given scFv.

Beneath the Assay Results, the user can view and edit the Targets associated with this scFv. Clicking Add target will allow for selection of either a target or a material.

Finally, the sequence of the scFv is displayed, along with the annotations associated with the selected analysis pipeline (i.e. Kabat and/or Chothia).
