A critical part of the antibody discovery process is evaluating the properties and performance of clonal antibodies and re-arraying those clones into plates of priority antibodies for further characterization and analysis.
Managing and understanding this important process is vastly simplified by StackWave Affinity’s cloning and re-array tools. Clones plate can be generated, in any configured pattern, from outputs from a phage panning experiment or from B cells from tissue extracted during hybridoma production. Once clone plates are generated, StackWave Affinity provides a great deal of flexibility to register configurable assay data against those clonal samples, as well as to supply sequencing information for clones to automatically run sequence analysis pipelines to further improve your organization’s understanding of key antibodies and tie it all together for evaluation and filtering. Once the clones have been analyzed, all available information can be aggregated together in order to re-array a filtered set of chosen clones to promote to the next phase of analysis. Available sequence data can also be used to collapse to unique clones to avoid waiting time on duplicate antibodies.
Once re-arrayed, promoted clones can then undergo further analysis and be re-arrayed as many times as necessary to get to a manageable set of antibodies for the scale and expense of analysis desired. All experimental data for clones is also tied back to the origin antibody and can be further explored via StackWave Affinity’s Material Analysis module.
